Well I'm trying so hard not to buy any makeup right now, unless I absolutely need it!! I'm only allowing myself to buy like foundation, mascara, stuff like that!
So I pulled out some stuff I have forgotten about it, and I'm glad I did, my picture shows no justice how beautiful this look really is!! If you have these products or similar products I suggest you try it out!! :)

On my lid I have pussycat by Bare minerals blended up into the crease a bit, then MAC soft brown to blend that out , saddle to deepen crease and Brown Down in outer V, such a beautiful look, and I just went with a flat brown eye liner from Mark cosmetics, I used Painterly paint pot as a primer! I'm also wearing MAC's Warm Soul blush! Loved this look!! Like I said my picture sucks! I need better lighting!! It's just to give an idea, it's seriously sooooo pretty!!!

Wet n Wild

So I've been hearing a lot of good things about the new Wet n Wild eye shadows and palettes, so I decided to pick one up, it's the Sugar plum fairy from the holiday collection. It also came with a purple liner.

Here are some swatches:

Here's another picture of swatches, the 2 purples above original swatches are MAC dupes, the purple on the right middle of the palette is very similar to MAC's Trax eye shadow. The one on the right bottom of the palette is similar to Beauty Marked by MAC. AND the purple on the bottom left of the palette is like Parfait Amor from MAC. What do you think?
The Wet N Wild are swatched in a line over Painterly paint pot from MAC, the MAC swatches are just over bare skin. The one on the far right MAC Beauty Marked is swatched underneath it. Sorry I'm not the best "swatcher" :)

All in all I'd say these palettes are ok for $5, check them out. :)

Vanity

I've been on the hunt for a vintage vanity that I could re-paint and fix just the way I like, some that I've come across are way too much, or not what I've been wanting, well my aunt was getting rid of this one, and I thought it was cute and perfect for now, I want to paint it black, and give it a vintage twist, and reupholster the seat with a zebra print or something like that. I love it and think it's cute, although in the future I still want to find one that I've imagined in my head, you know the one's that have drawers on each side of it....until then, I do think this is cute and will work. :)

Bows!

Lately I've been having a thing for bows!! Anything with a bow, I've got to have it! ;)
Well I saw this cute Guess cosmetic bag and knew it would be mine! This is the makeup bag I carry in my purse, I love it cause it's small, but big enough to carry the essentials with you AND if you're going out or just don't feel like taking your whole purse this is cute enough to carry as a clutch and fit your cards and cell phone in!! I love it! It comes in other colors also, black, a pale gold, and lilac. I always buy black, but loved this pewter color. This can be found at Macy's. :)

As you can see I'm only using one side for now. I don't want to over stuff it! :)
I love how it's clear also so you can find stuff easily.

I put this together so that if I had to only take one palette with me, I could do numerous amount of looks with it, I love it!

Favorites are :Cork, Sable, Texture, All that Glitters, Brown Down, Soft brown & print. (But really I love them all) :)

I use Expresso for my eyebrows.

I know we're all guilty of buying the same color lipstick in every brand, because we just have to have it! lol AND it's not that we do it on purpose, we are always just drawn to the same color family!! Right?!!? :)
Here is my case:

From left to right:
Rimmel: Spotlight Beige, MAC's Hug Me, Nude Rose (LE), and Angel

Don't they all look very similar??
And I only bought Spotlight Beige cause I seen it on another blog and thought it was pretty I didn't really need it!! lol
I think Spotlight Beige is a good dupe for MAC's Hug Me
And if you didn't get your hands on Nude Rose, Angel is a good dupe.

Yep this product lives up to all the hype!! I LOVE it! I've used it everyday since I've purchased it, all different looks!!

All I'm gonna say is that if I wasn't such a makeup addict, I would be able to only own this palette and be good, but since I am an addict it won't be the last palette I purchase, but I say it's a great deal, and perfect for traveling!! : )
I seriously absolutely love this! Such pretty colors! Gotta love Urban Decay!

It's my favorite hot pink nail polish!
The black nail just has some pink hearts on it :) Not sure if you can tell or not.

So my favorite beauty products at the moment are:
MAC Texture eyeshadow: I love to just put on painterly paint pot and this in the crease, fast and cute.
MAC Superduper-natural blush: I recently fell in love with this blush again, I loved it when I purchased it, then never used it, I pulled out again, and have been using it everyday, it gives your cheeks such a pretty flush.
Painterly paint pot: I have been using this everyday as a base, and like I said up above I like to put this all over lid up to brow bone, throw Texture in the crease and some liner and I'm ready to go.
Blacktrack fluidline: I've always loved this, if you don't have this go get it now! lol :)
The Falsies mascara: I can't tell you enough how much I love this mascara, I'm always on the hunt for the "perfect" mascara, so when new ones come out I want to try them, but I'm pretty sure I've found "the one" hehe :)
Royal Assets Smokey eye palette: Such a great palette, such beautiful colors, Love it!

Jemma Kidd

I just bought the Jemma Kidd Fashion Palette at Target the other day, I had wanted it when it first came out, but didn't want to dish out the money, well I hit the jackpot and found this baby on clearance, for $7!!! Yay!
I love it! It's the perfect palette for a quick smokey eye! Sooo I suggest going to your local Target to see what goodies you can find on clearance!!

Volume, length, curl, oh my!

Yes ladies I'm talking about lashes!! I know were all looking for that perfect mascara or those perfect false lashes. So today just wanted to give a little tip. Now if you are blessed with long curly lashes then read no further, but if you're like me with long, yet straight lashes, stick around.
First off I do have long lashes, just straight as a board. I use the Shu Umera eye lash curler to start. I also only use waterproof mascara. Something in the formula helps my lashes stay curled. I have tried and wanted so badly for regular ones to work and they just don't! It's too heavy on my lashes and they do not stay curled.
Also sometimes I will heat up my curler with a blow dryer, don't get it too hot though.

A couple of my favorite mascaras are:
Covergirl's Lashblast Volume Blasting mascara

and Maybelline's Define-a-lash lengthening mascara

So for your straight lashes to stay curled and full, waterproof mascara and heated curler. :)

Doucers de Paris

I was sick all last week, but I did receive my Nars Pleasures of Paris palette, so that made me feel a little better. It's such a beautiful palette, my first Nars palette actually, I would say it's worth every penny. I had my eye on the Modern Love palette but when I saw pictures of this on other blogs and hauls I knew I had to have it!!

I would definitely recommend this palette to all neutral lovers, it's perfect for traveling if you don't like to take much, it has pretty much all you need.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed in makeup??? I mean as makeup addicts, and I say addicts because obviously we are ADDICTED to everything that shines, that's bright, that has glitter, that's glossy, that makes our faces even more pretty than what they already are ;) I mean do you ever feel like "whoa this is crazy!!" on how much makeup you own. I always try to organize my makeup and it always ends up like the pic above, And that's nothing, it's in my bathroom drawers, in those plastic storage containers, and anywhere else I can find to put it in!! Will the makeup I own now ever be enough!?! No! because I'm already thinking on what I want to buy for the fall and all the pretty things coming out already!!! I'm starting to feel like I have OCD with makeup and that I must own EVERY SINGLE THING that MAC or STILA or Benefit, or which ever brand it may be, makes!!!! Anyone else feel this way???

Some pics of some jewelry I recently purchased. As I've posted before I am a MARK rep. although I think I'm the only one who buys from me!! lol
Anyways there was some jewelry that caught my eye, so I thought I'd give it a go, I wanted to see how good the quality was, and it did not disappoint!!

So I picked up this zebra ring, it's quite unique and for sure makes a statement, I liked this because I love zebra print.

I also bought this rose cuff bracelet. It is very pretty, and very heavy!

All in all I am very impressed with the MARK jewelry and will continue to buy it when they come out with more stuff I like. These two items don't feel cheap at all, good quality and good prices!! ;)

These two bracelets are not from MARK, I purchased them over the weekend at a little downtown festival my town was having, they have food, music, games, and booths filled with lots of goodies, I managed to come home with these two simple yet cute bracelets for only $4 each!! I think they are cute together or alone. ;)

Ha! Cheesy!! So I have to say the Benefit creaseless cream shadow held up pretty well, I am pretty impressed and will definitely be buying more of these!! I wore it all day Friday with no base,(I always, always use UDPP) and it did not crease, The only one I have now is Skinny jeans. I would recommend checking them out. ;)

Today I decided to put the Benefit creaseless cream eyeshadow/liner to the test. It's supposed to not crease, and be better than MAC paint pots, so we'll see...;) I always, always, always use UDPP as a base no matter what, but today I decided to just use the Benefit cream shadow, I was in a hurry today so I just applied Skinny jeans with a 217 brush and blended it in well and a little up to the crease, so we'll see how it goes as the day goes on......

MAC, Bare Escentuals, & The Balm

So I did some hauling this past weekend. I wanted to check out MAC colour craft collection, all I ending up getting though was the 226 brush, nothing else was too exciting for me, so I decided to skip this collection, I also picked up Teddy eye liner, Naked lunch and Sable eye shadows.

I have never stopped at the Bare Escentuals counter before, but for some reason I decided to check it out, the way they had all their shadows out looked so inviting, they all looked so pretty, so I ended up getting 2 eye shadows, Pussycat, and Queen Phylis. Pussycat reminds me of woodwinked from MAC but with shimmer. Queen Phylis is a pretty champagne color, the swatch really doesn't show how pretty this color is.

A couple of weeks ago I bought Cordura Nars Duo eye shadow. The colors are pretty,no doubt, but idk I just felt I had similar colors, well I just decided I was going to return them, and also I had seen the Shady lady palette by The Balm, which is $38 for 9 eye shadows vs. $32 for 2 shadows!! So I got that instead and couldn't be any happier, the colors are gorgeous!! I know I will get a lot more use from this palette.

Mist Opportunity vs. Fix+

So I just discovered Mist opportunity from MARK. It's the same thing as M.A.C. Fix+ except you get twice as much and for half the price. Fix+ is $17 vs. MARK @ $8
I love Fix+, I use it for so many things, to set my makeup, under moisturizer, just as a refresher, to apply eye shadows, etc. And it does last a long time. I found that MARK does all those things also, so why not buy the bigger, cheaper version.

See for yourself, you get twice as much. ; )

Haul

Just wanted to share my haul from the M.A.C. 25% off sale. I only got 3 things and I'm happy with all of them. I bought, Smut eye shadow, Buckwheat eye shadow, and Pearl cream base. I bought Buckwheat cause I heard so many good things about it, I was gonna pass on it because I have many browns that looked like it, but with all the hype decided to just purchase it, and I'm not disappointed, I love it. I also bought Smut cause I've heard quite a few things about it also, I like it, it's not what I expected but I think I'll be getting a lot of use out of it. I purchased the Pearl cream base cause while watching Kandee The Makeup Artist, she used a cream base a lot and I loved the way it looked, and I thought I was buying the exact one she uses, but wrong she had been using Shell, not Pearl, lol, but I do love the Pearl one, a lot actually !! But I will be checking out the Shell one soon. ; )

MEET MARK!

I have always been one to try ALMOST anything when it comes to cosmetics..... My mom has always bought stuff from Avon, like their lotions and lipsticks, and I always liked getting the chapsticks or glosses, I've always been a gloss whore! lol Anyways when they came out with MARK, I was excited to see a line that appealed more to a younger crowd, so of course I had to try their shadows, personally I think they're pretty good for the price, they're only $4.50 and they're really big. I recently purchased the Rebel Rose quad for $9, not bad, for 4 shadows. Also to me they are pretty pigmented and with a good base, last all day. I have so many M.A.C shadows I shouldn't even be buying these, but I can't resist!!! haha

Zebra nails

My first post, and it's about NAILS!! ;))
I love, love, love Zebra print! I found these pictures from the first time I did my own nails......I was so proud! 1. because I always used to bite my nails (yeah I know gross habit) and I have stopped biting and have been letting them grow. 2. I did the nail art all by myself. I have to say I think I did a good job for my first time! ; ) All you need is your favorite pink nail polish, a black nail polish, and stripe white paint (which you can get at Sally's Beauty) I like the brush cause it's a long, thin brush great for stripes, hence the name! lol Anyways just apply your favorite base before you begin, then polish your whole nail pink, or whatever color you'd like ; ), let it dry for a few minutes, then apply the black to the tip of the nail, let it dry, then do your zebra stripes!! The pictures kind of suck cause my camera phone sucks, but you get the idea ; )
